SmartQ Tao has great screen quality and powerful CPU. SmartQ TAO has a ADI BlackFin BF547 chipset. Its dimension is 62x105x14mm. The player has a 3.3 inch TFT screen in 4:3 scale and 480x320 resolution supporting 262k colors. TAO supports lots of audio and video formats, including MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC, APE, AAC，WAV(PCM,ADPCM), CUE，AVI(XVID/DivX3.11), RM/RMVB, FLV , WMV，ASF，3GP , MPEG , DAT，MP4, etc. AVI video clip in the resolution of 720x576 @ 30fps 1200Kbps is not a problem for this player. Regarding the image viewing function, TAO supports JPEG, GIF(including GIF89a), BMP and PNG formats. JPEG images in 12mega pixels are able to be shown. Besides, TAO also has eBook function and voice recording (with built-in mic). The USB 2.0 transferring speed is 9.2MB per second. The SD (SDHC) extension slot allows maximum 16GB memory for the player. The estimated time for audio and video playback are 20 and 6 hours separately.
