Weighing a mere 10.6 ounces and measuring a compact 5.9 by 2.5 by 1.2 inches (H x W x D), this versatile projector can be carried comfortably in a bag or pocket and fits in the palm of your hand. It connects to a wide range of devices via the included VGA and composite video cables for high-resolution projections of up to 800 by 600 pixels.

All you need is a flat surface to project videos, photo slideshows, Web sites, and more from your smartphone, laptop, camera, iPod, DVD player, or other digital device. (Note that the MP160 connects to iPhones, iPads, and other Apple products, but due to licensing restrictions, certain proprietary media cannot be displayed. Apple adapter cable sold separately.)

Sharp Images, Consistent Brightness, and Long Battery Life

The MP160 features an SVGA-resolution LCOS projector that will bring out the color of your vacation photos. Emitting 30 lumens of brightness, the projector also makes black-and-white spreadsheets and charts easy to read.

Boasting twice the lumens of its predecessor, the MP160's display remains consistently bright--even when you're running the device on batteries, and even when those batteries are getting low. A full two hours of battery life increases the projector's versatility. (Note: The two hour battery life is based on a new battery. Battery life will gradually decrease over the lifespan of the battery. Replacement batteries are sold separately.)

 

Features Built-In Speakers and Audio Out

The MP160 comes equipped with two built-in 3/4-watt speakers that produce robust sound for enjoying music, movies, and videos. It also features audio out, so you can take advantage of headphones or additional speakers.

The MP160 is compatible with Blu-ray players, CD players, digital camcorders, digital cameras, DVD players, gaming consoles, laptops, mobile phones, PCs, portable media players (including iPods), and portable TVs.

Based on smartphone capability (see below), the MP160 can make the small screen of your phone large and easy to show to groups. Be sure to test with your phones, as some providers block content out of phones.

Note: Some cellular phones and smartphones (such as BlackBerry phones older than two years) do not have a video- or TV-out and cannot be connected to the PocketProjector MP160. Your phone's manual should include information about TV-out or video-out if the feature is available.
