Unless this product picture and its 2.4 inch screen, it seems that no more details about this player are announced.

Ramos has released its new product line - mumumusic. And this ‘ican’ is a model under this new series. ican is a simple, but has lots of functions. It has 1.46 inch TFT screen, but it supports RM/RMVB/DAT/VOB/MPEG and most of the audio formats.

Ramos releases its second Bluetooth player - V85. It is also known as RM955. Read Here.

Ramos RM550+ is an upgrade version of RM550. It adopts a new chipset Rockchip 2706. So it can support RMVB and AVI directly. It also supports Microsoft PlayFX audio and nearly all the functions of RM970. Comparing to other models, RM550+ is cheap!

Introduction:
The RM965 uses the Rockchip RK2706 chipset, the same chip used in their very popular Ramos RM970 player. The RM965 has a 2.8″ WQVGA screen with a 400×240 screen resolution. It has the ability to playback RM/RMVB, AVI, and FLV video as well as APE and Flac lossless audio formats in addtion to MP3 files. Does have a built in speaker, 2.0 USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. Slot for the use of a Micro SD memory card up to 2GB. Can upgrade firmware, by simply loading it into the root directory and using the upgrade function.
Design:
The design of Ramos RM965 is simple. There are four buttons on the right hand side and also on the top. The whole style is similar to the RM970, there is not much decoration to show its practicality. HeadPhone jack and USB are on the bottom side, the whole layout is very logical. The material is Aluminium. It is all black in color.
Screen:
The screen is 2.8-inch WQVGA LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 4:3 and 16:9. Very close to that of the RM970, but slightly smaller in size. Has very good video playback, as most do that can handle RM and RMVB formats.

User Interface:
There are four buttons on the right hand side and also on the top. The top includes: the reset, Esc/hold, Vol/AB, and the power on/off button. Those along the right hand side are: rew/back, mode, enter/play-pause, and fwd/forward. The buttons are of good design, no worries of them being loose or easily breaking.
The GUI:
The GUI is text based, and very simple to use -came in chinese and I had no problems finding the setting for English. The main menu has eight functions: Music, Video, Photo, E-Book, Record, Other function (This leads to the stop watch and calender), Media Libary, and the Settings.
Audio:
Audio formats supported are: APE, Flac lossless, MP3, and WMA (id3 tags must be set correctly for it to ’see’ these). It has a very excelent audio playback, much better then I had expected, has built in EQ with: MSEQ, manual setting, Normal, Rock, Pop, Classic, Bass, and Jazz. Does have multiple playlists, play by: artist, Album, Title, or even make a ‘favorites’ list. Thee is no resume with audio files.

Video:
The RM965 can playback RM/RMVB, AVI, and FLV video files up to 720 x 480 in size without any problems. The 2.8 inch wide screen format has excelent video resilution, and no lip sync problems of any kind. During playback if a button is pressed it does show the time and current position in the video - after a few seconds, that all disapears and leaves you with an unobstructed view of the video/movie. There is no resume with Video Files.
Photos:
It handles JPG images and it displays them as a list, which you can then: rotate left/right, Zoom in/out, Or put into a slide show. I have used Images up to 1280X720 with very good quality.

Other Features:
Radio:
No Fm Radio.
Games & Tools:
No games. Tools would be the stopwatch and the Calander.
Voice Recording:
Record in either low or high quality settings in WAV format.
Text Viewing:
Supports files in TXT format and does have bookmarking so that you can return to where you last left off. Font can be changed in size to make viewing easier, color of the text can be changed and the background / format can also be changed to the users preference.
Accessories:
Items included with the player: USB cable for charging and connecting to a PC, Ramos Headphones, and the user manual -that is in Chinese. The headphones are the ear ‘bud’ style and they sound very good with this player.

Conclusion:
Overall, I was most impressed with this players audio sound quality and also the video playback was very good. The only thing I did not like with the video playback, is that it does not support resume, if you turn it off it will start at the begining every time - though FWD is very easy just need to remember where you were to get back. The only other thing I do not like about this, is that you cannot delete any files with out the use of a PC. The simple yet easy to use interface make this player very user friendly. The solid case design and button lay out are also very easy to use and it fits very nicly in the palm of your hand. I would recomend this to most people, keeping in mind it’s ease of use - and more toward first time users or even kids.

The Ramos RM955 PMP comes with 2.8 inch touch screen QVGA display at 320 x 240 resolution, Bluetooth connectivity and microSD memory card slot. Supported file formats include AVI, MP3, WMA, JPEG and BMP. It will be available next month in 2GB and 4GB capacities.
Ramos RM965 is featuring 2.8″ 400 × 240 widescreen, the RM / RMVB, AVI, FLV video, APE and Flac lossless formats, ebook support, transflash expansion and TV out function.

Ramos V8 has a 4.3 inch screen -touch? Not know yet…
Sporting a sleek, black enclosure and a 4.3-inch display, this portable media player handles MP4, AVI, DivX, RMVB, MP3, WMA and FLAC file formats, a TV output and even includes a text viewer. You’ll also notice that it automatically detects rotation and orients the on-screen imagery in response, so no matter how you hold it the screen will alsway be right side up.All specs are just rumor at this time:
* Use of RK2706 Rockchip chipset, as in previous models
* 4.3″ screen
* Possible touch screen
* Possible camera
* TV-Out functions
